Offering warm, human support in Washington.
Therapy for adults navigating trauma, shame, and neurodivergent identity.
Stephanie Thiessen, MA, LMHC
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a trauma-informed, compassion-centered approach. I blend Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), shame resilience, and self-compassion to support meaningful, lasting growth. My work is especially helpful for those navigating perfectionism, religious trauma, or exploring their neurodivergent identity. I practice from a neurodiversity-affirming lens and bring warmth, curiosity, and attunement into every session. I don’t rush clients toward fixes—instead, I help you build sustainable systems and gentle change from the inside out. Therapy with me is relational, validating, and grounded in deep respect for your lived experience. If you’ve ever felt like you had to choose between being accepted and being authentic, I hope this can be a space where you don’t have to choose.
